Dear Jo and folks steering the ship,

Regarding Linux Foundations' offering, kindly take into consideration their recent action: http://mjg59.dreamwidth.org/39546.html

Now upon looking at the grants page below: https://www.coreinfrastructure.org/grants

One worries about terms like: "Under the guidance of the Advisory Board".

In your meeting chat logs, its clear that many founding members of LEDE have great respect for the concept of "community". I hope this will not be shaken by some "foundation", especially in the long run, after the project becomes heavily dependent on their support.

I believe the entire project can be funded by the community, please put out your hand and you'll be surprised by how many drop what they can in it.

Regards,
A. Benz

Dear Konstantin,

thank you for the offer, I've put it on the agenda for the next meeting.

Personally I'd very much like to host the wiki and mirrors at *.kernel.org.
