Communicating the message to the market.... that's what I would like

Great. How?
Depends on how much time I have available and when and what people want
achieved.
On the Charter front, it is sounding like a DIY Charter is going to be
the most likely outcome. If we give ourselves a few months to craft one
based on some existing ones, then that would be ok.
If we can track down the charter for the FreeSoftwareFoundation, that's
probably going to be a good starting point.
I may be able to give some broad directions and help get ready for
particular events but I don't have time to do everything.
One example of where we might be able to get traction is by writing
about Lazarus and submitting those articles to Linux magazines. That
might be a start. Then we could start to approach the more mainstream
magazines as well.
If we could raise 15000 euros, we could get Lazarus to cebit next year
in Hannover. A 3x3m stand costs 10,000 euros and you need another 5000
euros for all the other costs like furniture hire, brochures, cds etc.
That isn't so much money, say 15 big companies signing up to some sort
of priority support plan.
If we gave ourselves those objectives for the next six months then I
think that might probably be a good start.
(btw - I can't write magazine articles - but I might be able to edit
them - so offers ?)
