To the project, or the package? The package would be the right place.

I had added to the project. Adding to the package didn´t help.

Should work. Please check:
Open gfx\fpgfx.pas. Popup Menu -> Unit Info -> Source Paths.
Is gfx\gdi there with full filename?

No. This is what I see:

C:\Programas\fpGUI\trunk\gfx
C:\Programas\fpGUI\trunk\gfx\emulayer
c:\Programas\lazarus18\packager\units\i386-win32
c:\Programas\lazarus18\packager\registration

If not, then continue:
Click on 'Show Codetools values'.

Wow! I never know there was such dialog in Lazarus =) Entering unknown
territory...

If you added the path to the project's compiler options:
Right treeview (Define templates) -> Projects -> Project -> Source
Directories.
There should be several Source Directories. One entry for gfx and one
for gfx\gdi (with full filename).

No, there aren´t. I see only 2 entries for source directories:

Name="Source Directory 1"
Description="C:\Programas\fpGUI\trunk\examples\gfx\imgtest\"
...

and

Name="Source Directory 2"
Description="VIRTUALDIRECTORY"

thanks,
