No, it will not. you can never have what lazarus offers you in Eclipse,
it is simply not possible, because for the designer, you need access
to the actual created objects, with the actual RTTI generated by FPC.
Java will never be able to give you that.
The integration of designer and editor that Lazarus offers you is not
possible with Eclipse.
Eclipse is fine for Java, and as some kind of general-purpose editor,
but not for RAD with Object Pascal.
What is more, all low-level stuff for eclipse is written in C.
The GUI is GTK or Motif, which are C libraries. So it's one big hoax.
I don't even mention the HUGE load it puts on your system with it's
Java Runtime Engine. It's dog-slow, even slower than Kylix, which
says a lot...
