I'll be struggling until I'm more familiar, since I have no experience with
CVS/SVN at all.. but I found the GUI tools for SVN out there are basically the
same as CVS ones.

If you use the command line, everything has to change on you. With GUI's..things
can stay the same.  Tortoise SVN for example seems basically the exact same as
tortoise CVS. I'm experienced with neither CVS or SVN, and I don't have a clue.
But I just clicked "make patch" and felt dumb. But it worked.

Of course the real trick, is editing and merging the files by hand first...
