BTW, the default TGDBMIDebugger jumps even worse. Begin, End, Begin,
i:=3. So the new debugger is better here.

Btw: It could be that this problem is fixed in fpc-trunk. If not I have
to look at it.

There's also the NextOnlyStopOnStartLine debugger-specific-option. You
can try if that fixes your problem.

This is enabled by default.
If I disable it I get the same as with the TGDBMIDebugger.

BTW, "Step into" does not work with FPC 2.7.1.

More likely is that you've encountered one of the situations where "Step into" does not work. Normally it works?
