In the unicode RTL they will be UTF-16 characters, so 2 bytes.
2 bytes - are you sure? What about code points that don't fit in 2
bytes? Won't they be supported?
First find a ThousandSeparator and DecimalSeparator that would actually need
this.
Then we'll see.
Idle theorizing is fine for mathematics and theoritical physics (huge fan of those),
but not here :)
