I've tested going back to September revision 25577 both class and record helpers are broken. They work in simple stand alone units, but when you bring in the LCL and other units they fail to compile.
I create a new windows form project and added a few line of code. There error message is: main.pas(49,5) Error: identifier idents no member "Reset" Bug filed here: http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=25210
