I'm not sure, but IMO now it's a daughter of Embarcadero.

I wouldn't find it so bad when Embarcadero cared for marketable products, keeping Delphi alive, while Lazarus/FPC would make the trendsetters and provide IDEs for all supported platforms. In contrast to Lazarus, Delphi "X" will be a crosscompiler only, running only on Windows.
