Well, the problem appears to be with FPC 3.0.2. Writing just a simple 'Hello World' using the FP IDE exhibits the same problem. Downgrading to FP 3.0.0 and Lazarus 1.6.2-1 means everything is back to normal. I guess I'd better head over to the Pascal group and post details there, unless somebody has beaten me to it.
