Happens to me all the times.

It is really annoying

Work Around 1): Usually going to file:New VI tend to
restore the growing handle (about 50% of the time)

Work Around 2): Just keep wiring or debugging things
around and eventually it comes back.

Another annoying thing: Ctrl + Drag use to work 100%
of the time in LV6.1 to insert space. Now it does not
always work (especially when trying to insert only
Vertical or Horizontal [very fine invisible selection]
space)

And one more: When selecting objects on the panel or
diagram, under 6.x if you were overshooting (getting
close to the edge of the panel or diagram) the window
will scroll at a decent speed to follow your
selection. Now it sroll so fast, that in no time you
are 3 screen away !

All of these I have seen on PC (different OS).
