George,
If your application is written using IVI-C specific drivers, then besides
installing VISA, you have to install the IVI specific driver(s) as well as
the IVI Compliance Package which contains the IVI Engine and IVI Shared
Components. However, if your application is written with IVI class drivers,
then additional components need to be present on the system such as MAX and
specific IVI configuration file. In the case that you do need to port the
configuration settings, please contact National Instruments
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) for more information.
Best Regards,

Does anyone know what exactly needs to be installed on the target PC when
you have a built executable (LV 7.0) that uses IVI drivers. I know for sure
that VISA has to be installed. But the rest of it is somewhat of a mystery.
I've gotten the application to work, but only by installing a whole bunch
of IVI stuff. It's hard to back up and try to figure out what I installed
that wasn't really necessary. It would be nice to know what the minimum
amount of IVI stuff is needed for the next time. The help files for the
application builder seem to be sadly lacking in helpful information.
