I put a link to all your postings here to help others on the discussion forum to follow your questions. The problem may be that your server has a single CPU and that it can only do one thing at a time. Another limitation may be the abstraction layer for your database. What version of the Oracle db are you using? Do you have this problem across computers or just on a single machine?
