Not that I really want to defend Access, but this should not be a
problem for it. I am currently using a network database that takes
data from 4 different VI's(on different machines) and multiple Access
users, all at the same time. There is an occasional blip that I
haven't figured out yet, where the database claims to be locked by a
user, but that is rare.

Are you using a file DSN? You can set up the database for multiple
users. I believe that the instructions are in the book that came with
the Database Connnectivity Toolset. If you can't find them, let me
know and I will see how I did it.
