I used the VISA functions to perform serial communications with a device connected to 
the FP-2000's serial port. Of course the vi had to be downloaded to the FP unit 
(embedded). I've looked through MAX, but I don't see anywhere to change the serial 
port settings. I can only change the settings on the local device (my computer). Maybe 
an .ini file on the unit? I will try that next...
