Just to clarify, the 40% refers to the range of the histogram that is
searched to find the peak histogram levels (or <i>state</i> levels).
Then the <i>reference</i> levels are typically set at 10% and 90% of
the resulting range defined by the two peak histogram values.<br>

There is no way to modify the 40% histogram search range in the Pulse
Measurements.vi. The alternative would be to perform a histogram
separately on your input data and process it according to your
requirements. The resulting reference levels can be passed into Pulse
Measurements by changing the ref units input of the reference levels
cluster to "absolute".
