You have to use the "class specifier constant" located in the "Application Control" 
pallete. Select the specific class or a generic
one. This can be placed into an array. Also, as Jason mentioned you can drag a front 
panel (not just from the control editor)
control reference to the diagram and it will be converted to a class specifier 
constant array.
