Bernd, With the 1394 cameras the trigger is passed directly to the camera. So the camera itself it taking the trigger and taking the image then. You can set attributes of your camera. So if your camera supports a delay of the trigger on the camera itself then I would try that way. You can obtain a list of supported attributes from the camera by running Imaq1394 Attribute Inquiry.vi The other option is to have on a NI DAQ board and have it create a delay.
