How to control a solenoid using LabView w/ a NI PCI-MIO-16XE-10 DAQ?

Hi, I'm hoping to control a solenoid valve (rated for 5,12or 24V... is
there one that is more suitable than the others?) using LabView 7.0
for a company I just started working for. They have already purchased
an NI PCI-MIO-16XE-10 DAQ as well as an SCB-68 shielded I/O connector
block. I have experience with LabView from a while back, but have
almost no experience with DAQ and instrument control. Any advice or
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
