pwm in closed loop

I have a switch mode Power Supply that has two modules. I would like
to be able to test the modules separately. One module is the power
converter section and the other is the pwm control section. My
question is can I control the power converter module using Labview and
a 6020E series Daq Card using the pwm function in a closed loop?  I
guess specifically I am asking if the software/hardware is fast enough
to really simulate my actual pwm control hardware?
