thanks for replying to my post.
I also have written my own driver, and I also never had a problem
before, but this is really weird.
I am not at work now, and I won't be tomorrow, but I will send you the
VIs.
What I am doing is simple:
1. configure K2400 to source current and read current and voltage
2. start to source
3. take a reading using ":READ?", the reading from the K2400
4. turn the source off
This works in another VI, but not in this one. What happens if I run
the VI normally is that the reading is taken correctly, but the source
does not turn off! The instrument display shows "LISTEN" and a voltage
reading.
If I run step-by-step, the source turns off and there is no "LISTEN"
annunciator and the reading disappears (shows -------------) in place
of numbers.
I have tried to put a Wait in-between commands, withe little success.
