Sure, but it has to use dynamic events (LV7) to trigger the event cases. Standard
event triggers such as button presses, key presses, etc will not work due to it being
embedded in the fieldpoint unit. You can use buttons, etc. on the front panel of your
embedded vi for debugging purposes, but when you disconnect you want a way to remotely
trigger the events; dynamic events do this nicely. There might be a way to use vi
server to remotely change the value of a button and thus triggering an event, but I
haven't tested this method.

Subject: Event structure with FieldPoint

Hi All,

Can I use an event structure in a VI that is to be downloaded and run on
a Fieldpoint FP2000 module?

Thanks,
