Why would you want to do that? It's a pain in the ass, will only work under Windows and be likely a lot of work before you even can start communicating with your device. On the other hand using VISA I communicate with all sorts of devices since days and years and it has always worked for me, with the additional bonus that my LabVIEW applications work under Linux just as much without rewriting or even conditional VI code.
