Jim, Resizing of the chart during run-time seems to be the problem. However, in the example that you submitted I was not able to do this while the VI was running. One would think the solution would be to create a property node for the XY Graph with the reset scale layout property enabled. However, no such property exists at this time. You could use a combination of properties to get the graph to reset the scales programmatically. It looks like you have done this in a way already. This issue has been reported but this seems to be the only workaround at the present time.
