Stan, The posted VIs are pretty rudimentary. I remember a few years ago collaborating with Peter Brock is Australia. He had faced the same problem as you. Full SG filter code is available in Numerical Recipes in C, but has the usual problem of array offsets, etc.
At IITK we had coded the Savitzy-Golay filter including options of points before and after, derivatives, etc. in LabWindows/CVI, taking care of the various coding problems. Peter subsequently converted these into LV CINs/DLLs. We thought about posting these on the users group. I do not know whether Peter did it or not, since we seem to have lost touch (Peter are you reading this). If anyone is interested I can look into my archives and pull try to pull the stuff out. The nomenclature etc. is as per the recipes book though.
