Hi all,
One of my projects at school deals with a motion controller PCI-7344 to run a stepper motor using MID-7604/02 motor drive. After configuring and initializing the controller, I could not run the motor. It seems the connections between controller and drive and drive and motor are okay.
Motor type : STH-56D101
Driver fault output LED (top row of LED status array) on the front panel of stepper motor drive, illuminates RED for the corresponding axis.
Manual says the reason might be either an overcurent condition or a problem with the motor bus voltage. How to solve that problem... I am a mechanical engineer and not good at electrical stuff.
