Hey Daniel, Well, I need the Linux 3.18 from Vivid, at my Trusty KVM Hypervisors and router VMs, to fix the BUG: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1362755.
I prefer to recompile the kernel package from Vivid, using Trusty as a base (pbuilder), to make sure everything will work as expected... A real backport... But I'll try you tip! A kernel is a kernel, I think I can run Vivid's Linux package directly on top of Trusty, nice tip! Tks!
