   You might want to try the `hthtml'-packages which is now part of
   l2h.  Probably you need to patch l2h too (which version are you
   using?)

It seems to me that this is the right way!  Thanks for the pointer!
May I suggest to include the features of this package into the main
l2h?  Or maybe you should give a better pointer to this package in the
manual...
