Hi Chris, Yes, I've had the same problem, ie resume not working from hibernate. However, for me it reboots, GRUB shows and Gutsy then boots, KUBUNTU progress screen shows, then some messages about USB, and finally switches off. Plus, it all happens very slowly with a lot of disk access. You can't even switch to another session and log in.
Here is the bug report I filed. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/135088 Regards Peter ----- Original message ----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: laptop-testing-team@lists.ubuntu.com Date: Fri, 31 Aug 2007 12:00:05 +0100 Subject: laptop-testing-team Digest, Vol 25, Issue 4 [snip snip] Today's Topics: 1. thinkpad x40 resume issue (Chris Jones) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 1 Date: Thu, 30 Aug 2007 12:55:53 +0100 From: Chris Jones <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: thinkpad x40 resume issue To: laptop-testing-team@lists.ubuntu.com Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Hey folks, With respect to launchpad bug #134868 has anyone else seen this on resume in gutsy? If you don't do the poking around that I do, all you'll see is the blinking half moon and no display. (separately, and not yet in Launchpad because I've not investigated it at all - I can't resume from a hibernate) Cheers, -- Chris Jones [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.canonical.com ------------------------------ -- laptop-testing-team mailing list laptop-testing-team@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/laptop-testing-team End of laptop-testing-team Digest, Vol 25, Issue 4 ************************************************** -- laptop-testing-team mailing list laptop-testing-team@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/laptop-testing-team
