With the recent update I now have about 5 choices when my laptop starts up. How do I remove some of those old versions?

I think everything works (including finger print reader) but I have not yet tested the built-in 3G modem. I had some performance issues early on, but it looks like they are all fixed with the latest BIOS (3.5) on this machine. Wifi works, onboard ethernet works. It's a tablet device so has a flip around screen and stylus (and spare stylus) if that's interesting too. > I'd really like all of the hardware to be supported, and I would be > willing to take a small performance hit if I could get a > cooler-running system. It's not too hot actually when running both cores at 1GHz. Sensors say it's 33 degrees C right now and the hdd is 35 degrees. I am running gutsy on it, but have previously had feisty. I have no idea how much it weighs, but it's not too much and the power brick isn't massive. Hope that helps. When I boot up the PC, I'll send you guys a few weeks of temperature logs. A few weeks ago it hit 102ºC, and since then I've been recording them. I'm guessing that there is some unknown bug with the kernel and my Eth0 card (realtek), because when I used it CPU tends to use more cicles, and eat up. While using PowerTop, I could see that even when unpluged eth0 was one of the top responsibles for wakeups.
