Hello, I have had used a Toshiba Tecra 8100 with Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy) and now my wife used it with Ubuntu 7.04 (feisty) and it's ok. What I have had to do was to add a option in the xorg.conf (Option "ShadowStatus" "true"). The DSDT table has only warnings. That's what I want fix next. That's all. But all depends on what do you want do with your laptop.
For me I use a Toshiba Satellite L30 with Ubuntu 7.04 (feisty) for daily business. There is a big problem with sound and the DSDT table (7 Errors). In the next days you can read about it in launchpad. But overall it's a good laptop for me.
