I use one also, for Flanders & Binche. I couldn't do those complex designs without one. And losing track of where I am is the primary reason. Like Nancy, I like to call it the "voodoo board". I think of it as murdering the design invented by a wicked sorcerer. And who is going to be defeated, me or the design.
