Actually, I see it working now. But I needed to completely refresh (CTRL-Shift-R) the http://www.openoffice.org/ page in my browser.
The issues to be solved: 1) no redirecting after 4.1.1 has been introduced; 2) the notice "This site is also available..." is in a wrong language when the global (en) page is accessed from a local page.
