welcome at Apache OpenOffice. Your description of what you are doing sounds interesting and several ideas come into my mind. Maybe not only you but a small team at your university is interested to help with a Turkish translation. I don't know if possible or turn the translation process of AOO into a university course ... well just some ideas You are welcome as individual as well and you can immediately start to help online on our Pootle server.
