In Weblate, it seems that checks are reset when a new version of LO is branched. The Danish LO translation has (almost) no acknowleged checks in master version, but LO 25.2 was branched with hundreds of unacknowledged checks. I think the same thing happened half a year earlier, when LO 24.8 was branched.
In the Danish translation, most of these checks are about the target string (the translation) being identical to the source string (the original English string). This is because Danish has a number of words in common with English. Making up the example, a string like "Version:" should also be "Version:" in the translation. Doing the translation, Weblate notices the user doing the translation that the target string is identical to the source string, which can be acknowledged as correct with "OK". The check is a useful feature, but it becomes annoying if it is reset at every branching. If this is not the right forum for presenting problems with the Weblate system itself, what will be the right forum?
