Ideally when finding stuff that's new, also worth checking weather it already is added to the releaseNotes of the upcoming version, and in this case there are some rudimentary entries: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/25.8#Calc At least references to corresponding bugzilla tickets Those don't necessarily have much info, but at least in this case they point to corresponding Excel documentation.
