While not entirely representative of the process, but this is easiest to do with a git checkout of the translations repo. $ git log -p 587e99affea726021dc41da2cc5a21a4b961249b.. source/sq/ |grep '^+msgstr "[^"]' |wc -l 17942 so almost 18000 strings have been translated/had their translation updated since last April. There probably are some false positives, but should be good approximation.
