Currently I run a Systemax dual core 2.3ghz pc running XP 64 with two
2tb drives mirrored. I also found a utility names Wake Up on
Standby. It hibernates the computer at a specific time in the evening
and starts up again at a preset time in the morning. My music player
is Winamp, which amongst other things has a adjustable cross-fade
setting seconds between tracks so there is no dead air. It's been
running almost a year, with zero problems. It is also connected to
the LAN for a time sync utility, and has Vipre Anti-Virus. I do
however reboot it no more than every two weeks just to be sure.
I also have about 3500 music tracks on this MOH server, but my
business is music oriented therefore it's almost warranted ;)

Copy mp3's to a usb stick, plug the stick into the OHP8000, and it
plays non-stop.
If power is interrupted, it will start right up and keep playing.
