Is that the normal routing of the calls? that it goes to line 4 first,
then rolls to 1,2,3?


It appears that something within the system is locking up line 4.
As Jim mentioned, a bad station could auto answer.
I have not seen it with cordless, but I have seen it a number of times
with the analog sets.

When the line is lit, you could go through and unplug each station at
the ksu and see if the line goes out when you hit a certain extension.

I had it happen at a restaurant where the offending phone was one that
was forgotten about in a back storage room, and had crusty old wires
too.
It could also happen from just corroded extension wiring, or something
in the system too.

You could temporarily program a phone's DSS buttons to show groups of
extensions (even unused ones) and see if one of them lights up when
the call comes in.
