If it is any consolation my TA-824 seems to be doing the same thing and it is the latest version available. If there is a party using one of the COs the same time I am or if the fax is receiving I can hear it at a very low level, not enough to disrupt the conversation but it is there. I am using new twisted pair throughout the house here all the extensions. I admit a little annoying but I figure there is nothing I can do about it.
