I am having trouble (or more accurately my customer is having trouble) with a delay between the system phones ( 7700 series) going off-hook, and the connection being established with the calling party. I saw a post about this problem but did not see a solution. I have installed several of these systems and as far as I know this is the only one with this symptom. When a call comes in, regardless of how many rings, the first and sometimes the second greeting is not heard by the caller. I tried to convince the customer to answer more slowly ; ) but this obviously is unworkable. Please help.
