While a little "off topic" I use a Viking Rad-1 at the "remote" location
with a scanner audio
into the "two way paging" connections and a spare line into the rad 1,
disable all the timers .
the Rad-1 disconnects on CPC.

I have two of these systems working everyday, the customer is a "fire
chaser" and
we listen to fire depts. that are "out of range" of the 120 foot tower
Any speaker phone becomes a monitor.
