I have a client who lives and dies for caller ID. I set up the Call Log-Common
to a feature button on a 7736 desk phone. In its default mode the KXTA824 Call
Log-Common is only allowing me to dial back numbers which share the same area
code of her number (212). This is a problem because NYC has five area codes
(212, 347, 646, 718, 917) before you factor in every other long distance area
code.

I dial out via the Call Log by doing the following:

  - While on-hook press "Call Log" feature button
  - Scroll up or down through Call Log
  - Stop at number
  - Go off-hook,
  - Press Call Log button (which dials last number viewed)

When the above is done I can only connect with 212 numbers. With the non-212
numbers I get a Verizon recording that tells me it cannot connect.

In 903-Caller ID Modification for Long Distance Numbers via the software I
tried to tweak the problem. In "Added Number" I entered a 1, uploaded to the
KSU without success. Then tried 91, uploaded to the KSU, still no luck.

  Anyone familiar with this issue?

  Thanks in advance
  Chris
