I have a KX-TA824 running here at home. When the caller ID log reaches 300 calls, for some odd reason one of the extensions which has an SLT (Ext 114) will have a continuous message waiting tone whenever you pick up the receiver. Calls can still be made from extension to extension as well as outside calls. I have tried turning off the MW feature for this particular extension via the KXTA software. I have also tried the 701 + ext # and 702 ext + # commands and this will not turn off the MW tone at the SLT. The only way I have been able to get rid of it in the past was to do a complete system reset and re-load the system settings. I have checked everything I can think of in the KXTA software but can't find out why this annoyance persists. There are other SLTs in the house on the system but none of them exhibit this problem.
