I too would love to hear that a software update has been issued that
resolves this.

As it is, this $1000 phone system can't handle Caller ID as well as a
$5 Caller ID box.  It even sometimes misses regular Caller ID info
on a ringing call.  You would think this technology is pretty standard
at this point.
