Will anyone here be carrying the new Microsoft designed phones when they become available next June?
I'm not sure I want my phones dependent upon my server's Active Directory, or potentially crashing and rebooting. Then again, we have replaced a Toshiba VM drive twice, but one of our NT servers is 10 years old and still running... Apparently they will be made by LG-Nortel, Thomson and Polycom. No PBX box needed, just another Windows server... What type of shop will be installing these? Phone people or IT people? What about obsolescence? A 5 year old PBX is usually still quite good. A 5 year old server is really old. These might be great for those of us into home automation though. WCB PS: No, this is not April fools. MS really does have a complete phone line in development. _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
