VTR will not work with "virtual" mailboxes. You need to have an extension
assigned to use the VTR button. Otnerwise you need to TRANSFER to 165 then dial
# 6 + the mailbox to get the caller into the correct box.

Subject: KX-T: Vtr-165 Not Working

I have a TVS50 with a KXTD1232 and various exts....I had one of the
buttons on the ext programmed to VTR-165 for voice mail. What we had
been doing is if some one called we could press that button programmed
to VTR-165 and then enter the voice mail box and the caller would be
directed to that VM Box. It still works to direct ext's that have
mailboxes but I have a mailbox(123) that does NOT have an ext. Just
the same we used to be able to send a caller to that box, now if I press
that mailbox(123) it goes to another mailbox, NOT the 123 I wanted. Any
ideas?
