Take the line off the system and try using a standard telephone. When it does
not work, call back the provider and tell them you are using a standard
telephone and can not access this feature. Once they no longer have the pbx as
a scapegoat, they will now have to get off their lazy butts and fix the problem.

Subject: KX-T: Call Hunting

Hi

A week ago I installed a KXTES824 system; the customer had two analogue
lines which were not hunting. I contact the Line provider and got them
hunting it other words the lead number rang the auxiliary number when the
lead number is busy. My problem is.. they were able to call forward on the
lead number before hunting was setup by dialling *21* NUMBER # since the
hunting was setup the call forwarding is not available on the lead number
---it is available on the second/auxiliary number.

I have contacted our line provider and they say there is no problem there
end and blaming the pbx. I have checked the system to see if the lines are
enable to dial DTMF and they are...

Any ideas - bear in mind the line provider is Eircom Ireland

Regards

Michael
