I have used Cox Communications Digital Phone Service for about 5+ years running all my test equipment on 4 lines without issue. There may be line voltage issues or grounding issues of your equipment that may need attention.
Systems I've used on Cox Digital Phone Service: Kxt616 kxt1232 kxt624 kxt824 kxta848 kxtd (all of them) KXTDA (All of them) Oh yeah and Partners, Merlins, Intertels, Vodavi and the list goes on. However, I do have problems on our test VOIP connection we use cheap ptp communications. I use Sipphone and a Leadtek Call-in-one adapter. I cannot get any of the PBX's to detect a hangup from the calling party...
