Hi
We have a customer with a KX-TD1232-7 and a TVS50 in a large residence. He
wants to eliminate a bunch of wrong number calls by having all calls answered
by auto-attendant, and requiring callers to enter a valid first name.
If the name matches one in the list, he wants most of the phones to ring;
otherwise go into a general mailbox. However, if a valid name is entered and
there is no answer, he wants those calls to go to that person's mailbox.
If a call comes in on the Housekeeper's line, it should ring on 2 or 3
phones, but be accessible for pickup by most others, and again go to her
mailbox
if there is no answer.
Any good ideas on how to do that; also is it possible to answer directly in
the "dial by name" option, without having to dial a code to get there?
I've installed lots of KXT's, but residential voice mail still baffles me!
